How Do I Use My Canon EOS M200 as a USB Webcam?.I have not updated to Catalina on my primary Mac because of the email loss issue that I've yet to see resolved. I swapped the lens and SD card to my EOS M6 and those RAW images don't show the color cast.Īccording to this page, support for the EOS M5 was added in macOS 10.12.2. Affinity Photo also does not show the color cast. If I export the original CR2 of the crow, the QuickLook does not have the color cast. Taken this morning and imported into Photos.app Taken last night and imported into Photos.app Both of the following were shot in RAW on my EOS M5 with EF-M 18-150mm and exported as JPG from Photos.app for upload here. This affects Preview.app in addition to Photos.app and there is inconsistency to it.

Resurrecting this thread because it's the newest I've found. It was the same problem with the M3 RAW files and was only fixed in the next system. From my experience, we will not see any fixes from Apple before the next update.

Catalina has no such a problem, but I can't upgrade yet since some of my software has not moved to the 64-bit only platform.

The problem is in the latest Mojave update:(( Problem is only in how Apple RAW drivers processing M5 RAW files - it will only affect Photos:( Unfortunately, we are screwed since Mojave is old system and I'm not sure it will be another update. I'm Lightroom user and if I import and view the Photos directly from Lightroom it's OK I'm on mac book pro version MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 for at least one year and it was working fine viewing the photos with the Finder until a few days ago.įirst I thought that was a problem with Canon Eos Utility.
